Privacy Policy for the “3D Object Creator” App

This Privacy Policy explains how the app “3D Object Creator” (for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch) handles your data. Our principle is simple: your models and data belong to you and stay on your devices.

1. Data Collection and Local Storage

We do not collect, store, process, or sell any personal data. All content you create in “3D Object Creator” – including models, projects, custom shapes, and settings – is stored entirely locally on your iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. There is no user account, no advertising, no external servers to which your models are sent, and no hidden trackers.

2. Importing, Exporting, and Sharing Files

The app only opens files (e.g. STL, OBJ, PLY, 3MF, or projects) that you select yourself. Exported files are only handed over to the destination you choose via the system share sheet (e.g. Files, Mail, or Messages). The terms of the service you choose apply to that transfer. The app does not need access to your camera, microphone, photos, location, or contacts.

3. Exchange between iPhone and Apple Watch

The Apple Watch app works on its own. Projects are only transferred between your iPhone and your Apple Watch when you explicitly trigger it (“Load from iPhone” or “Send to iPhone”). The transfer uses Apple’s watch connection, generally directly (peer-to-peer) via Bluetooth or a local Wi-Fi connection, encrypted and without passing through our servers.

4. Data Processing by Apple

The app is distributed via the Apple App Store. By default, Apple collects certain anonymized analytics and crash data when you download and use apps (provided you have explicitly consented to this in your iOS, iPadOS or watchOS settings). This data cannot be traced back to you personally and is only provided to us by Apple as general statistics to help fix bugs. The Apple Privacy Policy applies here.

5. Deletion

Deleting the app removes all locally stored data from your device. As we do not process any personal data, we hold no data about you.
